Even the smoothest guys out there that seem like they have never had any problems attracting women had to start somewhere. 1) Desperation is the nastiest smelling cologne any guy can wear.
When a guy is desperate to get a girlfriend, when he is feeling like he absolutely needs to have one, women get turned off. It's like a cologne that they can smell on you, and when they do, they shut themselves off to you. You have to be able to disguise or mask any desperation that you might be feeling, because it is only going to end up getting in your way and repelling women.
2) If you can't make eye contact with a woman, without looking down or away, she's not going to want you.
I'll be the first to admit that there are *some* exceptions to this, but usually when a guy looks down or away instead of holding eye contact with a woman, it comes across as being submissive, which is not a good thing at all. You have to be able to hold your eye contact with her, and let it drop naturally. Holding it for too long can make you look kind of creepy, and not being able to hold it at all makes you look weak. Find your balance.
3) You have to be able to talk to a woman without all of those long and awkward pauses.
Those uncomfortably long and awkward pauses are attraction killers. You do not want to have too many of those breaks in conversation, because all that does is give her time to think and feel awkward and that is no good for you. Seriously, being able to talk to a woman is a skill that a lot of guys lack, and if you want to become good with women and have no problems with getting a girlfriend, you have to be able to hold your own in a conversation.
